My stats: in my 40s; 159cm (5ft2.5"); usually 99pds (45kg) but for past three years (cos of menopause) gone up to 119pds (53.5kg).
Lowest weight: 93pds (42kg) and still didn't feel skinny. I reckon at my height you have to be 88pds (40kg) or 38kg to look really skinny. GW: 45kg.
My mum was in Overeaters Anonymous, so I had a fierce battle to stay thin when I lived at home.
It's very difficult trying to stay a healthy skinny weight in a society that bombards us with crazy food messages, restaurants that serve gigantic portions and fattening food, and jealous friends who act nasty when *they* gain weight.
